Camp Birchrock - Day Camp

Happy Summer to everyone! (Wait, does it feel like summer yet??)

Camp season is finally upon us.  Day Camp starts in a few days and it has been VERY busy around here!

Here is some basic info for Day Camp:

• Drop-Off will be at Camp Birchrock between 7:30am and 8:30am.

• When you come in for check-in, we will have a staffed station by the parking lot to make dropping off easier.  (In the event of rain, drop off will be at the Camp Birchrock camp office right next to the parking lot)  Please drop your child off and sign them in using the provided check in sheet.  Parents MUST accompany their child to the drop off station and sign them in each day.  If your child is unable to attend a day or will be later than the scheduled drop-off time, please call us as soon as you know so we don't worry and send a search party after you!  If the child will be dropped off or picked up by someone other than the legal parent/guardian, please have the child bring a note with them giving permission for that person.

• Pick-Up will be between 5:30pm and 6:30pm.  Pick-Up will be at the Bear-Claw Fire Ring (path is next to the parking lot, I will show everyone where it is at drop-off).  In the event of rainy weather, pick up will be at the camp office next to the parking lot.

• If everyone that is having a child attend day camp could please email me at director@campbirchrock.org and give me an approximate time you will be dropping off and picking up that would be GREAT!

• Do not forget to pack a lunch for your child each day!  We will have milk and juice to distribute for lunches (no additional cost).  We will also be providing a healthy snack twice a day with milk and juice.  In the event that you forget to pack a lunch, we will have "Lunchables" and "Uncrustables" available for a fee.

PLEASE USE CAUTION WHEN DRIVING DOWN OUR LONG DRIVEWAY TO CAMP!  Our driveway has a lot of blind corners, please do not exceed 25mph and always stay to the right!
